It’s so difficult to collect much less form our thoughts in today’s instant everything Information Age. Until recently, I was unable to fully realize how bad it had become. Our minds are literally being assaulted everyday from every angle. The obvious culprit is television and in no particular order followed closely by movies, magazines, video games, radio, and so on.
Television for the most part leads us down a premeditated path. Our minds are temporarily hijacked and taken for a ride that rarely leads to a positive outcome (At least I feel that way living here in America). Radio and films do the same as well as exposure to the information found in your common abundantly available periodicals. It’s possible my blog may ultimately effect your perception of the world as well. 
It amazes me how the majority of people never seem to sense the media pushing its capitalistic advertising campaign, that in my opinion is morally void, on them. The media tycoons ignore the marketing/psychoanalytical reports that indicate the majority of people are influenced by what they see on television and read in the press, but because they are concerned with profits and political agendas they can afford to overlook those pesky reports.
Right now I see people rushing out to buy the sugar laced chemical candies, the expensive (feed a village for a year) SUVs and imports, while financing their life away, voting for whitewashed candidates, buying their vain body enhancing plastic surgery and augmentations. Why? Could it be because of what we are watching on the screen, hearing on the radio, and reading in the papers? Have you ever notice that people usually become that which they choose to occupy their mind with? If we’re somehow convinced or persuaded to believe that it’s perfectly normal to live like the Jones’ then that’s what a lot of us will do, or at least try.
The problem is people are not hearing their inner voice telling them they are beautiful, smart, capable, necessary, and loved. We as humans must think for ourselves and listen to our hearts, our conscience. Once awoken on the inside we become aware of the destruction and attacks occurring all around us on the outside.
This post is my gift to those who have become incredibly lost in the shallow materialistic world driven by the greedy corporations & mass media. As well as those who are utterly confused by their role or place in this human race. Reawaken to the forgotten notion that the entire universe can be found and understood through the eyes of a child. It’s imperative that we recognize the war that’s waging for our minds and our morality. Together out of love, we will defend ourselves against this relentless and evolving assault on our minds.
If the people of the world could still their minds for just one minute they would see how foolish they can be.
